How I price murals

Pricing depends on wall size, location, complexity, and surface conditions. The ranges below give a realistic idea of what to expect.

Each project begins with a mockup fee starting at $100.

A typical deposit to secure the project is 50% of the total bid.

Small Murals

Interior accent walls (smaller interior walls with moderate detail)

Typical range: $1,500-4,500 (includes digital mockup, materials, fees)

Medium Murals

Feature walls (restaurants, boutiques, community spaces, etc.)

Typical range: $2,500-7,500 (includes digital mockup, materials, fees)

Large-Scale / Public Murals

  • Site-specific concept development

  • Mockups for approvals or committees

  • Project planning & execution

  • Lift/scaffolding coordination if needed

Typical range: starting at $5,000 (Larger public projects vary widely by scope)

What all effects pricing?

  • Wall size & location (interior vs. exterior)

  • Level of detail/complexity

  • Surface condition (brick, stucco, drywall, etc.)

  • Accessibility (ladders, lifts, height)

  • Timeline / urgency

  • Travel
